Our families came to America to be Free!

Our immigrant ancestors came to this country in search of a better life! They longed for a place where their spirit, imagination, and ultimate dreams could soar, like the American eagle.  They arrived, fighting the hard fight which most newcomers do, once their feet hit this soil, meant for achievement!  They asked for nothing more than an opportunity to try.  They worked long hours, in thankless jobs for the future of their next generation.  They kept their heads held high, while people made fun of their poor English, or pathetic nationality.  Yet, they were proud, only requesting to be FREE.  Meanwhile, they donated the little money they made to build churches, hospitals, and other places which might aid, yet another soul who suffered more than they did.  They all departed from countries who policed them, regulated them, and ruled their very lives.  And sadly, those good people, who are no longer with us, would detest the way this country, this very American dream has drifted to.
